Communities

A community — sometimes called a “Room” inside the app — is its own space on Nuts with a feed, a chat, and its own rules. Anyone can create one, and anyone can browse one’s feed without joining. This section covers creating a community and everything involved in running one day to day.

In this section

  • Creating a Community — Walking through the community creation flow — name, description, look, rules, and how it’s moderated.
  • Joining & Discovering Communities — Browsing the Rooms directory, and joining or leaving a community.
  • Community Settings — Editing a community’s banner, logo, name, description, website link, and rules.
  • Moderators & Rules — Adding and removing moderators, Autopilot vs. Manual moderation, and where a community’s rules live.
  • Pinned Posts — Pinning a post to the top of a community’s feed so members see it first.
  • Community Chat — The group chat tied to a community, separate from its post feed.
  • Community Livestreams — Going live in a community: broadcaster tools and how members find and join a stream.
  • Community Earnings & Stats — The real analytics page for owners and moderators — reach, growth, and top posts — plus what’s ahead for community monetization.

Tip from the mascot

Running a community? Autopilot mode reassigns moderators automatically overnight — see Moderators & Rules before you go hunting for volunteers.
