Sharing & Branded Links
Every post has a Share option that gives you a short, Nuts-branded link. Paste it into Telegram, X, WhatsApp, or anywhere else that generates link previews, and it shows a card with the post’s image and title — not a bare, generic URL.
-
On a post, tap the Share icon.
-
A sheet opens with three main options: Repost, Copy Link, and Share.
- Copy Link copies the branded link to your clipboard — this is the link that shows a rich preview card when you paste it elsewhere.
- Share opens your device’s native share sheet, so you can send the link through any app installed on your phone.
- Below those, a row of shortcuts lets you post directly to X, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, or email.
Reposting is covered on its own page — see Reposting.
What the link looks like
Instead of the app’s long internal post URL, the link you copy or share is a short one on Nuts’ own domain — something like media.nuts.social/p/a7Bx9kq. When someone opens it, it takes them straight to the post.
The preview card
When your link is pasted somewhere that generates link previews — Telegram, X, Discord, and similar apps — it unfurls into a card showing the Nuts logo and the post’s image or video, instead of a plain text link.
On the web
Tapping Share first tries your browser’s own share panel, on browsers that support it. If yours doesn’t, Nuts shows its own share menu instead, with Copy Link plus one-tap buttons for X, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Reddit, and Email. Either way, you get the same branded link as in the app.
