The Notifications Tab
The bell icon is Nuts’ notification center. It lists everything that’s happened — likes, comments, mentions, messages, community activity — regardless of whether push is turned on, which makes it the reliable place to check if you think you’ve missed something.
Opening your notifications
-
Tap the bell icon in the top bar. It’s on your main screens — Feed, Wallet, Rooms, and Messages — next to the Nuts logo.
-
Your notifications open in a list. Unread ones have a small colored dot and a tinted background; the header shows your total unread count.
Filtering and managing notifications
Across the top of the list is a row of filters — All, Likes, Comments, Follows, Mentions, Reposts, Rewards, Messages, and Community — tap one to narrow the list to that type. Below the filters, notifications are grouped by date: Today, Yesterday, then by the date.
- Open a notification to go to what it’s about — the post, the chat, the profile, or the Shell.
- Mark all read — tap Mark all read at the top of the list (it only appears when you have unread notifications) to clear your unread count in one tap.
- Remove a notification — swipe a row to the left to reveal a delete button, then tap it to remove that notification from your list.
Pending group chat invites show Accept and Decline buttons directly on the notification row, so you can respond without leaving the list.
On the web
Where the bell takes you depends on your screen size. On desktop, the bell in the top bar opens the full Notifications page. On mobile web, it opens a notification panel that slides up from the bottom of the screen, with the same filters and date grouping as the app. To remove a notification, hover over it on desktop to reveal the delete button, or swipe it on mobile — same as in the app.
