Editing & Deleting Posts
Editing a post
You can edit a post within 15 minutes of publishing it. After that, the edit option disappears — there’s no way to edit an older post.
-
Open the post’s
⋯menu and tap Edit Post. This only appears if you’re the author and you’re still within the 15-minute window. -
Make your changes in the same composer you used to create the post, then tap Post to save them.
Editing replaces the post’s text — there’s no version history, so previous versions aren’t kept or shown to anyone.
Deleting a post
- Open the post’s
⋯menu and tap Delete Post. - Confirm the prompt (“Delete this post? This action can’t be undone.”). Once you confirm, the post is removed immediately and permanently.
On the web
After you edit a post, it shows a small “(edited)” label next to the timestamp, so others can tell it changed.
The app doesn’t show this label yet, even though editing itself works the same way there — the 15-minute window and the edit flow are identical on both.
